The energy bill spike has nothing to do with brexit no matter that some people want to pin everything bad on it. VAT not being removed, well that is not really very surprising, I can't remember the last time a politician actually kept a promise.
@Fire your bills have go up less than ours in Denmark much less, is that also Brexit? I can see how the price of fish here could have been affected, but not gas or electric.
Chart in the paper yesterday,where our different fuels coming from. We pay twice as much as the Americans,who must be laughing their socks off. We are ridiculously reliant on so many other countries for the basic needs.

Unless there's a viable, affordable replacement [for everyone] already available, we still need oil and gas for the foreseeable
