:D  It's all worth looking into. I imagine local conditions make a huge difference. As said above, in some places, you can open all the windows and the humidity inside could go up.

I’ve noticed lots of central heating vapour coming out of people’s vents this week. A lot of them put it on when it rains too which I find very odd.

I can’t imagine what hot flushes must be like. You have my sympathy!

I can't regulate my body temperature at all since menopause. I had the shivering thing far more than the heat, although I had that too. I  thought I had flu.  :)
I spend a lot of time putting on and taking off layers at any time of year.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

My sympathy to the Tidy Gardener. I've had 10 years of them since stopping the HRT
Folk who've never had them imagine just heat. I can feel quite ill, faint, dizzy. Last year just as we locked down was put onto medication for high BP,and I'll give you one guess what the side effect is!!!I sit indoors, jumper on jumper off,etc etc

They talk of 'relative humdity' but I have to explore that idea more.

feel free to ask - I don't have chapter and verse but I have got a psychrometric chart on my book shelf  :)

I may take you up on that too.

In my head it’s the amount of moisture in the air relative to the temperature as hot air can hold more. If it gets cold then the moisture can’t be held in the air so it forms into water. They speak of dew points and other things but that’s when my brain melts and I lose it.
