    Good morning folks.

Gone pussy gone!!  (Hopefully not to do this again).

We had a good dose of rain yesterday evening - it has cleared the air somewhat and watered the garden.  Cool wind coming off the Cevennes.

Good to be home, isn't it @Dovefromabove?  I hope the weather is clement for you during your forthcoming holiday.

@Chicky Good luck for you new school.  Is it an all day programme?  Do you take a packed lunch?    Lucky you to be able to meet your sisters for a stroll.

    Have an enjoyable day all.

    Good morning all.
Good luck @chicky, what's the new course and where?
    Devon.
  • Morning folks. Went to Lewes yesterday coffee with friend, walking along the High Street, lady with gorgeous long hair ginger cat,who came to say hello, and a border collie, turned out cat was only 4 months old,in training, therapy animals
Cat was sitting on the dogs back, asked for permission to take photo, unfortunately cat got off. Just toured the plot, came back absolutely covered in green fly! The sweet peas are alive with them, haven't had them at all this year. There are no more buds,so might remove them. Discussion on here the other day,who was Niki Minaj, she was in several papers yesterday, saying you mustn't have the Covid vaccine, but her cuz friend had it,it made him impotent and therefore his girlfriend refused their upcoming marriage. I'm sure he's very greatful she shared that!

It’s the RHS Level 2 Practical course (to complement the Principles course I did last year). Going to Sparsholt college this time for various reasons - Merrist Wood made a hash of my application and messed me around big time, and Sparsholt do the same course in 6 months as opposed to a year (longer days).  So I’ll be done by end of January which means that if the world ever opens back up then I’ll be able to jump on a plane without worrying about missing a college day.

Anyway here now (first hurdle over - I actually found the right car park).  Now it’s time to take my packed lunch and go find the classroom 😀

Who's to say she even has a cousin?  More unsubstantiated cr*p from stupid people.

Cool and grey here but the sun is slowing working its way thru the clouds.  Looks like the last of the warm days coming to an end by the weekend but still no rain forecast.

Dentist today to fit a couple of crowns which I only need cos he changed all my old metal fillings for modern stuff and my teeth broke around it.  Clever.  Dancing starts again this evening.  First class since last October.

Glad your motor is feline free @tui34.  Enjoy your day @chicky.

Have fun today everyone, if yo can.  If not, take care and chin up.

    Morning all.

I may not still be 27 anymore today, maybe 28.

I'll plant my new clematis this morning and I'm going to see old friends near my old house this afternoon.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
  • Have a lovely birthday @Busy-Lizzie 🥂🎂🎁🎈  .... don't worry ... you'll still be 27 ... I've found that I am even after having birthdays ... haven't managed to grow up yet  ;)

Well!  All dolled up again to go out and the car wouldn't start!!  The cat must have disconnected something and as cars these days are computers, I phoned my local mechanic who came at lunchtime.   He found that there was indeed a plug hanging loose.

    Miaow!

The cat is still there!!!  This time it has squeezed itself into a pocket behind the motor.

Can you imagine if the car had started and we had driven off to our destination- and it got wound around the fan belt?

    But that moggy ain't moving!!

More tuna.  This time, I have put little bits in a trail and out the garage door.

    Saga pending ..........
