Good afternoon . Been to docs with OH this morning .He has sinusitis .He would normally deal with it himself but he has to be totally free of infection when he goes for some Botox injections .The injections have been prescribed for his constant headaches . Injections will be in his forehead ,neck, upper shoulders and other areas around the upper body .He has to have between 34 and 39 injections . I actually thought those numbers were an error . I rang the specialists secretary and she said it was standard practice to do so many .I hope they work .
Goodness me Ruby. That is a huge number of injections. will you do it or will he have to go to the Doc's each time? Like Ante said, I, too, hope that they help with the headaches.
Ante, its hot and humid here too and I think I will have to have the fan on again tonight.
Yvie - what a coincidence
Cacoethes: An irresistible urge to do something inadvisable
We're home, m/home is unpacked, washing on the line, friend visited and now we're about to have the BBQ we would have had last night if it hadn't rained.
Journey was good but when we got home it was obvious there'd been a power cut and a lot of rain. Friend said we'd had a really violent thunderstorm yesterday afternoon. Garage had obviously flooded (which it does when there's a real deluge). Fortunately it only floods to about an inch and we try to remember not to put vulnerable stuff on the floor so no real harm done.
Rosie - chard leaf tastes a bit like spinach and is very good for adding to frittatas, quiches and curries. Young leaves can be used in salads. The stems have a slightly different taste but both stems and leaves are an excellent addition to a stir fry.
Right - must get on with dinner prep.
PS - Has anybody seen my hairbrush? You know - the little one I use for doing my fringe. Thought I threw it in my bag to take on Thurs but couldn't find it when we arrived so thought I must have left it at home. Can't find it here either. S'mystery🧐🕵️♂️
Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down
Glad you are home safe T'Bird and I'll bet you are glad to have missed the storm. Can't help you with the hairbrush but it could be hiding out with my blue tail comb.
Ruby, I hope that he hasn't to go too far for the injections.

I'm getting my brain in gear for quiz night on TV so I'm signing out for now. Have lovely evening whatever you are up to. Ante enjoy chilling out, T'bird enjoy the BBQ - check it over first to make sure that you don't BBQ your hairbrush. See you all tomorrow.

Rubee, I also hope so that all that injections will help your OH. It surely sounds a lot of them.
LB, I wondered where was you this morning. I'm glad that all is ok with Lilly. Here one person can come in vet office with pet.
Very hot and damp, almost unbearable for me. I was watching tv and read a bit. It's my off day.
