    Oh yeah - last night saw off our Nasturtiums and any remaining Busy Lizzies. Our bird bath (out of the sun) has repeatedly refrozen all day despite my best efforts with kettles of boiling water. 
    Clay soil - Cheshire/Derbyshire border.
