I watched yesterday Springwatch, and one chap explained how foxgloves change their sex with help of the bees, and that’s not coincidence that bees start from the lower flowers up to the top, row by row.
And there was me thinking that they started.lower down because those were the first flowers to bloom, @Simone_in_Wiltshire
And I had noticed that they always start on the bottom left side, go to the right and then again on the left in the second row, but I didn’t see purpose behind that behaviour.
Mutant arm of the toadflax flowering nicely! Cape Fuchsia Salvia which I had to move and cut back very low, just flowering. Viola, never had orange ones until last year, and I love them. Looks like two little mice having a kip in the middle. 😁 Achillea starting to show a hint of colour. It's not a pink one, it's actually orange.

The first Lobelia flower has opened but, don't think it is the variety it is supposed to be.
It should be Cambridge Blue but looks very dark and not the lovely pale blue I wanted to go with the Nepeta.
