Thank you @Woodgreen. It's always really late. I think it waits until I prune the clematis behind it right down, July/ August , before it wakes up at all. It's not the hawkshead. It's definitely a pink one. I have some hawksheads but they weren't looking so photogenic at the time😊 Edit: just realised I thought you were talking about my post on the gallery thread. Same bloom though. Just later after it had opened. It's even bigger today!
