@Hostafan1, hope you will be able to find a suitable outcome.  You probably know about this already, but I read yesterday that dementia carers in receipt of Attendance Allowance should also receive a 25% discount on their council tax bill. Hopefully it's all been automatically done.
Thanks, Guess what? More forms to fill in and they con't take my word for it, or DWP, but have to write to his GP ( they've never got much to do after all )

Pleased to be able to point you in the right direction @Hostafan1, but what a shambles, talk about joined up government! it should not have to be people like you to fight for your rights every step of the way. That makes me so cross!

On a happier note, my big hosta, with large green and white leaves is giving a huge display of purple flowers today. It's smashing. It was a division from a friend many years ago so I don't know its name. I really meant to divide it this year.

Oh no, now I'm not so happy. The posh hotel OH was going to take me for my birthday dinner tomorrow has had to shut its kitchens because too many staff have been pinged.
Plan B will have to be the local pub, sigh. :(

    That’s a shame … you’ll have to have two birthdays @Lizzie27 … there’s another Lizzie who does that isn’t there 🤔

Are you HM in disguise @Busy-Lizzie?  … that would explain why you’re so busy 😉

I think the Queen is great but I never think of her as Lizzie, only Elizabeth or Lilibet.
