I do think that in recent weeks Johannes has outdanced John. I felt in the early weeks they were pretty much "in sync" and sometimes it was hard to tell who was the pro (Pirates of the Caribbean for example), but Johannes is enjoying himself expressing their sexuality (can't blame him for that), and may be getting carried away slightly. To be honest l was underwhelmed by their couples choice. I was expecting more. l couldn't really tell you what l was expecting, but l was left a bit deflated ! Glad they've made the final though, but l don't think they will win if I'm honest.
Either last week or the week before there were reports that John had injured both hips. He may have had painkilling injections which would probably be better for hip than ankle. Hopefully everybody will be fit for Saturday.
I saw AJ on ITT, she can't put any weight on it at all. She's supposed to be doing 2 high impact dances, a jive and a Charleston plus a showdance with everything "including the kitchen sink" according to Kai. If she was doing a rhumba and a waltz for instance, l would have thought that maybe ,with physio and strong painkillers, she could pull those off, but l'm worried that if she goes ahead she could end up causing serious or even permanent damage. I'm no foot expert by the way, but plantar fasciitis was agonising enough for me.
Fingers crossed but I can't see AJ dancing this week she looks too badly injured to me I wonder if they could bring Rhys back otherwise the final will be so one sided.
I said the same, @Dovefromabove, but my daughter said the injury was on Monday so conceivably they could have had him on standby, behind the scenes, from then? It's a thought, anyway.
