    Good News.
    The Chickee's seem to have fledged. The nest is empty and yes i have check the area, i now have 1000 tits and sparrows using the feeders as the dad has gone. Now i can use my ladder....

    @Rich B you may or may not be interested to know that blackbird parents eat the waste sac produced by their chicks, directly from the chicks as they produce it...
    There are videos available if you feel so inclined.
    Don't know what the situation with starlings is though!
