What kind of birds? Don't panic Mr Mainwaring.

I don't know, iv never really studied birds, just common, brownish black smaller than a pigeon and larger than a tit.

I think i may have panicked early. I just saw 2 birds that look the same come out of the shed....Ill keep you updated.

Actually i think they may have been invaders and the chicks are in need of help.
Here is a pic of them.

  • You need to provide some food for them.  They must be very hungry.  Maybe some worms.  They will need a regular feed.

You can’t provide enough for them. Impossible. Contact your nearest wildlife rescue place ASAP

They look like baby robins @Rich B and I think that Dove's advice is very wise. Contact your nearest wildlife rescue people. You may get helpful information about who to contact from a Vet or the RSPCA. Good luck. They don't seem to be too far from fledging. Mashed up cat or dog food fed carefully with tweezers is a possible temporary food or you could soak dried meal worms to make them soft or better still use living ones.

Try asking on your local facebook page if there are any wildlife rescuers nearby.  This just happened on my local page for an injured baby blackbird and it was picked up by a local wildlife rescue/rehab person within an hour.

I just opened the shed door and an adult flew out,( scared the be Jesus out of me).
I had a look and their beaks were moving so i think they were eating and may be OK.
It defiantly does look like the mum in the neighbours garden so i assume its the dad feeding them, hes now hanging out in a near by tree, squawking loudly

They appear to be Starlings. I am keeping watch from the house as im fairly sure the adult is helping them

He's probably squawking because you're near the nest  :)
Is it possible for you to just keep an eye on them from a distance? I assume the adults can only get in and out through the shed door, so can you leave it open or maybe a window?
I'm worried that they may abandon the youngsters altogether.
I would agree that it wouldn't hurt to contact the RSPB or a local wildlife rescue for advice just to put your mind at rest.
