If any one is growing any low growing cat mint, or something similar , I would be interested to hear. Little Titch might be too tall. Walkers Low looks to be too tall. About 20cm height would be great.
I’ve seen it in a local nursery, it looked very good and I was very close to buying it. I just don’t know whether I want even more cats in the garden. I really do like cats, but don’t appreciate the souvenirs left behind.
I certainly don't want the cats, but do want the pollinators for the community gardens. My thought is that is the planting is dense enough, the cats won't crap. Foolhardy, perhaps, but they are such great and useful plants.
@Fire I have nepeta (forget which variety offhand), and also have seed-grown catnip (that’s what the seed packet called it) in pots which I grow for my 2 cats and they’ve never shown the slightest interest in the nepeta, though they do like the catnip.
