I think she's definitely being 'conned' @jamesholt As long as you can make use of them, and have room to store or freeze them, it's great to have a hefty crop, although I expect your good lady would appreciate some help in processing them I'd love to make batches of sauce, but I can only produce a small amount of toms [can't grow outdoors here] and I eat a lot of them before they get to the kitchen. This year, I'm growing some from the seeds I saved from toms my daughter bought last year. I've just eaten the first ones. Not bad. Still have seed left, so will use them again.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
