I planted this from seed. The packet said cayenne pepper. She is convinced it is something else. I'm letting it ripen but picked one to test the heat. It's already really hot!
I like pokeweed! It has pretty flowers and rich purple, almost black berries that the birds in our Belgian garden loved. It does self seed so I unwittingly brought some here in one of my pots and it's now growing happily against a west facing wall.
