    You built that lake? Impressive!

I heard Texas had unusually  extreme weather this year - hard ice and cold isn’t something you associate with Texas.

I worked over a year on the lake digging with a 5 yard pan before the county asked if they could help me if I donated the dirt.  They used the clay to build a highway.  It is a certain type of clay valuable for road building.  They had two large track hoes and 15 dump trucks for four months before they had enough clay.for their road

I made a lot of mistakes on stocking the lake with fish.  It was a huge learning curve much like gardening with many mistakes because I didn't know any better

Would you leave the poke weed or pull it?

I'd bin it as I believe it can be quite invasive in the US?

Lol!  I've never seen one except on gardners world.  Someone in the uk had one in their garden and they were proud of it.  I guess I'll put it out.
