    I would guess that the west of Texas, bordering New Mexico, is much drier than the east. I know some of Texas had a terrible time with snow last winter.

    I spent my youth watching too many cowboy movies.
    James, do you get about the same rainfall as curent day Manchester?

    @jamesholt Great to see an update on your beautiful garden. Chelsea is only a matter of a few weeks away. I think that some of the planting will be very different this year. Wild flowers/ charity gardens/ biodiversity/ mental well being/ growing food will all feature.
    I would contact David Austin regarding your roses, always good customer care. 
    I have worked as a Gardener for 24 years. My latest garden is a new build garden on heavy clay.

    No I didn't eat the fish but I have in past and they are very good white and flakey meat.   Thank you for the kind comments
