As an alternative to Iceberg, have a look at Aimée Vibert, a white noisette climber with pink buds, which is said to be shade tolerant. A suggestion, not a recommendation, as I haven’t got it yet - it’s on my list for Autumn! https://www.trevorwhiteroses.co.uk/shop/climbing-roses/aimee-vibert/

@Nollie did you ever get Aimée Vibert?

Tempted by Aimée Vibert. Are the blooms smaller than Boule de Neige's or about the same?

A neighbour is looking for the ultimate white (ish) climbing rose. Any thoughts?
  • Aimee Vibert would be my recommendation too. Or Nastarana

Actually, no @Fire. It was part of a big order but the supplier kept delaying and messing me about so in the end I cancelled the whole lot. Just as well, as the place I had earmarked for a few big climbers turned out to have massive rocks just under the surface!
Mountainous Northern Catalunya, Spain. Hot summers, cold winters.
