    @Lyn lovely hostas and Solomon's seal. The leaves of my Solomon's seal have been completed decimated by caterpillars.
    Oxford. The City of Dreaming Spires.
    And then my heart with pleasure fills,
    And dances with the daffodils (roses). Taking a bit of liberty with Wordsworth :)

    Thank you Eustace,  I think it’s the sawfly that eats the Solomons Seal,  but by that time the flowers are finished and they do return next year. 
    When the Hostas get chewed I pull those old leaves off and they come up again fresh.
