My gripe today, not one word but several, I started to read a book set in Nazi occupied Norway set in 1944, so many Americanisms I couldn’t stand it anymore, will not be reading the sequel, Did they really say Guys, Honey, go see, done fighting, gotten, at that time set. There were no Americans in Norway at that time. I find this American slang very annoying.
