    Good to know @JessicaS, thanks! Of course I have more sustained heat days between 30-40c, but I would be happy with lilac. I have learnt over the years to go for the darkest shades possible. I want a mid pink, I buy a deep pink, I want a fucsia, buy a purple etc. Still hopelessly hoping for deep reds tho @Fire 😆

    @depoksharma07 thank you, I’m glad you are enjoying the posts. Do you grow any roses over there in Bangladesh? Of so, what so you grow?

    ^ that's a nice rose, not one I know.. pretty buds too..

    @andrewnewton
    ... lovely Veilchenblau, nicely situated..and seemingly held together for such a rampant rose...   as for your orange, if anyone here has 'Crown Princess Margarita' perhaps they'd like to confirm the i.d. on that one..  I don't have it myself, but that would be my guess..

    ..anyone else get the DA catalogue today?  no idea why they sent another, it's the same one we got in March.. no discount codes that I can see..

    Thanks for sharing Crown Princess Margareta. It does look very similar is the growth quite stiff like a short climber ?

    Yes, I would say it is midway between a shrub rose and a medium climber. The canes are quite stiff, unlike other climbers, and need to be supported properly to avoid breakage.

    And then my heart with pleasure fills,
    And dances with the daffodils (roses). Taking a bit of liberty with Wordsworth :)
