    I absolutely agree with @Obelixx 100%

Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

  • 0k ok no speedy seeds but I'm not too bothered about how it looks and feels. I'll take a photo of what I have and maybe you can recommend something similar.
  • The thick bladed seems to be only in the corners and the softer looking grass in the middle. I don't know what that is in the third pic but it didn't die and looks like parsley to me.

Creeping buttercup - shallow rooted but manic spreader so water well, leave half an hour then pull or grub out with a hand fork.
Vendée - 20kms from Atlantic coast.

Start at one end and work your way forward or backward.  Gardening version of vacuum cleaning or floor washing.   Not exciting to do but the results are worth it and if you don't control the creeping buttercup in the grass it will invade your borders........

  • Well I don’t want that to happen but I will need to go kit myself out with some new gardening tools. I only have a spade, bent garden fork and a lawnmower 😆  So do you have any recommendations on what type of grass seed I should buy? I think I prefer the thicker grass. My dryer is in the shed so I only walk up and down whenever I’m doing laundry otherwise nobody lays on the grass.
