Yewbarrow House, Grange-over-Sands, Cumbria, with a great view over Morecambe Bay. Open for the NGS. There is a huge collection of Dahlias. The pink flowering tree is Albizia, the Persian Silk Tree. While I was there a deer ran through the garden, startling everyone!

Euonymus oxyphyllus... why aren't deciduous Euonymus more commonly grown? They are an ideal size for smaller gardens.
Aesculus pavia 'Splendens' another nice small tree.
Ginkgo biloba 'Pendula', fascinating rangy habit of widely spaced branches, eventually they will become weeping but probably not for a few decades.
