SGL Sorry I’m not a watcher of LOD, I’ve heard how gripping it is id be on the edge of my seat.
LB Wow! Just hope it doesn’t spoil your get together later.

Oops sorry Chive, thought you had started watching it. Yes certainly edge of the seat with the last episode.
Oh @Ladybird4 do hope it brightens up for you this afternoon. 🤞🤞

SGL Don’t worry I’m clearly missing out, the most tension I can handle is on Bake Off 😀
Hazel Sorry to hear your night was unsettled, but lovely to have the rain. Hope you get your top sorted out.
I’ve been side tracked from the H’work duties to the garden my poor Pieris is looking sad, it’s now having a good soak in rainwater to see if it perks up.
Off to work in a bit, have a good afternoon All.

I'm back, I'm shorn and very. very happy. PR I was going in for a cut and blow. I've had about 4 inches (in old money) cut off so that means I must have lost at least half a stone - doesn't it??? Ruby, I've made a note in my diary for future reference. So sorry to hear you had a rubbish night PR you can join our club of insomniacs as we are all suffering from poor sleep patterns. I see that you had a rough night too Hazel. Chive it is still raining on and off but there is still time for it to improve before I am due to go. Enjoy your small people.
Debs, I am so happy for your sister. Interacting with the public again will give her a real boost I'm sure. I have grown some hollyhocks from seed Debs. I started them last year. They are still in the greenhouse and hopefully I'll be able to get them planted out soon.

Aww, I have a picture from LOD I'd like to post but don't want to spoil it for those yet to watch it.
Glad you managed to change your top @Songbird-1 shame you couldn't get something else for yourself. Bet OH doesn't mind 😉

Hi all, got what I wanted from B&Q and garden centre but couldn’t see any of the plants I wanted so will keep looking. B&Q only had Jacks magic compost I assume it has peat in it but I had to have some so bought it.
In my bid to reduce plastic use I have now arranged a milk delivery twice weekly in glass bottles. To be rinsed out and reused! More expensive of course but I am trying to do my bit.
LB glad you are happy with the results of your haircut.

    Evening all,

Nice steady rainfall now is just the job. Could do with a nice fine day tomorrow though ;)

30 tomato seedlings to prick out and the never-ending planter production line to start up again!

Evening all. I have had a marvellous afternoon with my friends. I have never been to their garden before but I now have serious garden envy - it was fantastic. They even have a (very noisy) rookery on the edge of their garden. I could have sat there all day and the rain was very kind and stayed away until I got home.
Hazel, I'm glad that you got the T shirt changed. I think your OH owes you an item of clothing now. Hope you have a better night.
Debs, I signed up for a proper milk delivery in glass bottles over a year ago. Its great to come down in the morning and find the bottle on the doorstep. I get my free range eggs from them too. Every little bit helps. I signed up to the dairyman's website and I now have a MOO account (Milk Order Online) where I can add to my deliveries other dairy products like cheese, yoghurt, milkshakes and cream.

Evening Biglad. You weren't there when I posted. You are definitely getting a good germination count from the tomato seeds.
