Bit damp and rainy here this morning. When I was walking to the car after work yesterday, the odd spot of rain was in the air. Then last night around 10pm it was pouring down. It is a welcome sight as we have not had any rain for weeks.
Slept really well last night. I awoke this morning and could have had an extra hour or two but alas, has to get up. Sunday night, I had a really bad night. I kept dozing and waking every hour. I dont normally sleep well on a Sunday night anyway but this was a bad night.

We haven't had rain for weeks either, the garden really needs a good downpour, but overnight preferably 😉 Time for a cup of tea.
Good morning all. Grey here hoping for rain later. Off to B&Q in a bit for compost for pots and other stuff, I am trying their peat free stuff but it looks very dry all the time. Oh well got to try to do my bit.
My lovely sister has got herself a job! She has been unemployed since they gave up the pub September 2020. I have been worried about her as she has been very down especially since we lost Mom. She is such a busy person and with her youngest now a teenager and her husband a chef she had not had enough to do. The job is as a doctors receptionist 25 hours a week it’s perfect for her. My oldest daughter works there and got her an interview. So pleased for her.

@star gaze lily I also need to go to a big garden centre ( the type that sells books and vases and scented candles) to buy some obelisks for my new clematis so I will have a quick look around though I usually prefer to use small independent nurseries. I want some hollyhocks I have one in the garden doing really well but think a couple more would look good next to it. Oh and a Russian sage, and maybe some violas? And a geranium for a shady spot, but nothing else I promise!! Famous last words.
