Glad your MIL wasn't too bad @Topbird I had AZ too, not looking forward to my 2nd vaccine as I was very ill with my first. The most horrendous headache, high temperature and couldn't even keep water down for 3 days. Still had a muzzy headache and felt ill, for almost a week. Hoping the next one will be ok.
Salad stuff was for sandwich/wraps. Can't be bothered to go to our village shop today, I'll wait till Monday 😉  Fish and chips sounds a great idea 😋😋

Back from my second jab . In and out in no time . I had the Phizer jab . Just had a sore arm with the first jab .See how it goes 🤞🏼.TBird I am glad that your mum in law was ok ,it must be a relief for you and OH .Lily hope that your next jab is less troublesome. My OH had the AZ and was quite poorly like you . He had his second one last week . This time he was just a bit tired .Try not to worry you could have the same experience.

Afties all. What was I saying about the white stuff earlier - well its arrived. I'm glad I managed to get my greenhouse jobs done. I had a lovely natter over the fence with my neighbour's Dad whilst I stood in the GH doorway - not seen him for years, literally. I've abandoned thoughts of outdoor work and the contents of Lily's TV are residing in the laundry basket until I can get them on the whirly thing outside.
Good to see you T'Bird. Glad your MIL was enjoying the golf but sorry to hear she had a bit of a reaction to her second jab. I'll let you know how I go on when I get mine.
RosieBB, don't forget to ask them for a refund. They sound about as reliable as mine was during that bad spell I had with VM. They did reduce my payments though and not just as a one off.
SGL: chish and fips - salad; salad - chish and fips. No contest in my view Yvie, I hope that Jonah doesn't pass his sore throat on to you Are you looking forward to seeing all your little people on Monday Chive? Great stuff Ruby, feet up and a cuppa now. Thank I might go and put my kettle on.

    Afternoon everyone,
Rubee I hope you don’t experience any ill effects from this 2nd jab, sorry I hadn’t realised it was today take it easy now,
LB I hope you got your insurance sorted out what a headache that is. Nice to see your neighbours dad for a chat, it doesn’t sound like your wet things are going to be drying outdoors anytime soon 😯 It will be nice to see the little ones again, mind you they’ve grown so much in the last 6 months since starting school it’s really noticeable after a break.
Hope you all have a good afternoon.

Hazel fingers crossed for your OH and no I’ll effects tomorrow either. You sound very busy with the garden, getting your planters lined and filled. Hope you managed to get some decent topsoil after the disappointing bag yesterday.
Ive emptied our Dalek compost bin and now seriously thinking of removing it altogether and using the space for some plants. It was sited next to the Sambucca and you’ve seen how big that is, so I’ll need to chose something that’ll tolerate dry shade, quite exciting to think about now.
Yvie Pleased to hear Jonah is feeling better, if you don’t mind me asking how is Merri getting on?

@Ladybird4 and @Topbird I’m flattered, but very sure no one will be that interested! I’m a tattoo artist, and I have a studio of my own. Hopefully that doesn’t make me a pariah as I’m usually given a wide birth at garden centres and what not.

I’m in my mid thirties and suppose it’s hard to be accepted into the gardening world etc when you look like I do

LOL @Wildlifer - yeah! I'm not really into tattoos for myself (although I keep threatening to get a little one somewhere private😉) - but I reckon @Ladybird4 is a potential customer 🤣

Don't worry - I'm sure nobody on this thread has any problem at all with you liking body art. Each to his own - makes the world go round🙂
