Can the "powers" please advise ALL presenters that the word folIage has the letter I in the centre, its not a silent I, the word is not folage, its folIage!! this constant mispronunciation ruins a magnificent program.

    yes a programme is on TV whereas Program is associated with computer software :)

    'program' is the American spelling for both.

    It's sod's law to get wrong the spelling of something you join a forum to complain about 😂 but I do agree many find the word foliage taxing for some reason. Bring back allocution classes.

    It’s like folk saying ‘tumoric’ instead of ‘termeric’ on cooking shows ... some people find it really annoying and others just accept it, as variety is the spice of life. 

    (see what I did there? 😉 )
