Morning all - feeling warm already. Heading outside once I've written a shopping list. OH has agreed to wash up, go to the SM for me, fill up my car with petrol, fill the lawnmower petrol can, wash the cars and do the dinner. Wot's he want then??? 😜

Hoping to find a couple of hours today or tomorrow to just enjoy the garden. Rarely works - find it very hard to just 'sit and be' - always spot a little job that needs seeing to.

Looking at the forecast, I think there will be plenty of time to tackle indoor tasks after Thursday - 🥶
Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down
  • LB it’s good you had a smooth run round the sm.  I did mine early on Monday.  You may need to rescue your washing, hope not hun.  Hazel I love snowdrops it’s always a welcome treat when they arrive.  Sorry to hear your news, sending my best wishes to you.  Lily it’s sunny here too.  We best make the most of it.  Topbird I hope you get a shower for the plants soon.

Afternoon everyone, what a glorious day I’m just sitting for a moment enjoying a cup of tea outside,
Topbird It can be difficult to sit back for any length of time and fully enjoy your surroundings without spotting a little job or two to do 🤨 you’ll have to try it though 😊
RosieBB I hope you are making the most of the sun today.
Have been looking for a spot to plant a Penstemon that we was bought last year, that’s my next job.
    Enjoy the afternoon.

What a beautiful day.  Have cut the grass at the back. It actually got too hot to do the front. But might do it later. We sat in the garden too @Chivetalking, it actually felt like Summer out there rather than March.
Love Penstemons  we have a few now, such pretty plants.
Think I'll have another cup of tea before I start the evening meal.
Hope everyone has a sunny day.

Evening All, apologies for the earlier post it should read were bought 🤦🏻‍♀️
SGL You done well to cut the grass today. I planted the Penstemon towards the rear of a raised bed near the house, quite a sunny spot so I hope to see it flower later on,
Topbird I hope you’ve got a nice scrummy tea in the making, what a treat to be cooked for,
Hope you’ve all enjoyed your day.

Hello everyone - what a fantastic day it has been. Everything in the greenhouse is looking perky. I did a quick shop first thing - Tesco was nice and quiet. I've been pottering in and out. Saw lots of little birds pulling Lily fluff out of the bedding holder. They look so comical - as if they have grown huge moustaches. Good to think the nests will be snuggly. I am hoping tomorrow might be nice too.

Hope that you have got on OK at the dentist's Hazel and good luck to Chey tomorrow when he gets his second vaccination. I cannot believe it is the last day of March tomorrow.

Evening LB I had to smile at your description of the birds with their Lily fur moustaches, what lovely comfy nests they will have. Sounds like you’ve had a good time in the garden, it does promise to be another warm day tomorrow so that’s good news. Hope Chey gets on ok with his 2nd vaccine, is yours due soon?
