You weren't paying attention @JennyJ!  Rat in the rocket.

If I didn't notice it, it didn't irritate me so that's fine. My OH calls Patty "the rat dog" too. Poor thing, she can't help being little!

I know but some of those little Yorkies have really ratty characters too.

The gardening on the houseboat section may have been dull, but there were compensations :)
How can you lie there and think of England

I found it quite interesting...and yes, there was. 😉

I suspect - cynic that I am - that it was the "compensations" rather than the plants which encouraged the GW producers to repeat it...   :|

Last season I seemed to be in a minority in thinking most of the viewers’ videos were pretty dire with too much emphasis on the gardeners rather than the gardens. This season I am picking up a switch in opinions with many more now saying the home made videos are often not worth watching.

In a way the houseboat feature classifies as a sort of viewer’s video. But was it the same clip as last year? I paid little attention to it but I think last year there were more sentences starting with superfluous so’s and more chewily indigestible commentary from the houseboat owner.

I think it was the same clip as last year (maybe edited a bit differently, not sure). Generally I think the viewers' videos are a mixed bag. Many aren't interesting to me, but some are, mostly when they have interesting plants or growing techniques and focus the camera on that, not themselves/their children.

I've only watched half of it so far but I quite liked the lady with the house plants. Not that I want to grow them but at least it was a change from the 'tropical' gardens. Fashion can be tedious.

I liked the houseplants, and surprisingly, the small tropical-style garden even though that's not something I would do myself.
