I understand and agree that BBC should devote time to Prince Philip, but looking at the TV schedule on sky it looks like they're showing the same thing on both bbc1 and bbc2. Seems pointless to do that
Fair point, but some folk don't have access to Sky, most only have the beebeecee...........17 million have access to Sky in the UK. That's 60 million who don't. Give or take. I'm not counting. Honest, guv'nor.
And I know who I'd trust for honest news coverage.
Wow I only mentioned sky as that happened to be the TV schedule I was looking at to see if gardeners world was on later 🤷 other TV schedules are available, I make no comment as to which is the best 🤦😂
Get that the Beeb have to cover it but I don't know why they can't put their coverage on the BBC news channel and leave the rest of it alone, this is absurd.
"What is hateful to you, do not do to your neighbour".
I agree @Loxley. To have exactly the same programmes on BBC1 and BBC2 baffles me completely.
After a hard working week, the only programme that I wanted to watch all week isn't shown because a very old chap, who I never met and had no bearing on my life whatsoever, has passed away. Obviously not his fault (or the royal family) but I will accept no justification for BOTH the main BBC channels showing exactly the same thing. Absolute nonsense.
