Thanks for the reminder! I have it recording too. I don't normally look at the listings for channel 5 so I would have missed it.

    What an amazing teacher!
There was more useful information in a half hour of this programme than in a whole series of GW. She explained any terminology she used for the novice and there were tips for the experienced.
    I will definitely watch again.
Ps there's the obligatory dog for those who appreciate it.
    In London. Keen but lazy.
  • I have not watched it yet. I am waiting until I have some uninterrupted time to myself.

Thank you for your thoughts B3. Sounds like it was enjoyable. I have been looking forward to watching it as I always enjoy Carol's segments on GW.  Sounds like the programme will not disappoint.
  • And a cat, briefly, @B3  :)

It was aimed at the novice but there was plenty to enjoy.
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

When you're starting off, leaf mould sounds like a horrible disease. It's good that this programme explains the absolute basics

I’ve receive recorded it as well, just need to wait until himself goes out for a walk.
We mostly watch the 5 channels,  best documentaries,  dramas, mainly watch PBS and Smithsonian.  Probably watch about 8 of the My5 channels.

Watched it this morning with my coffee. Thoroughly enjoyed it!

Edit: I was particularly happy that she recommended the Crab Apple "Evereste" which I have just planted!
I’ve no idea what I’m doing.

Me too.  Good to have basic terms and procedures explained for those of us who don't already know them or tend to over complicate things.  Good also to be urged not to be frightened but to give things a go.

Something of a beginners guide, but definitely didn't disappoint.  Looking forward to more!
