I take all my photos with a DSLR camera and edit them with the Adobe Lightroom software. I've never had any photo wrong orientation problem on this forum.
When I notice sideways or upside down pics on the forum, I sometimes download them, correct the orientation and re-post them to the discussion they belong to. But I've stopped doing it because there have been far too many recently. It would be interesting to find out why this is happening.
This is the view from my (West facing) bedroom window a couple of weeks ago. We completely cleared the front and found some terracotta tiling edging which must have been cemented in by the previous owners in the 50s (its a mid-Victorian house). So the front garden is quite old fashioned looking now. 4 new roses in the bed by the path with lots of tulips I'm looking forward to seeing. I've widened the bed on the other side of the path and my next job is tackling the bit to the left of the gate. I need to get out as much of that star of Bethlehem as possible, plant a clematis to go up the wall and tree and a ceanothus in front of it. Under the box is an agapanthus which wasn't in shade when I planted it but now is - that's going to go the other side of this bed, S. facing. Planning on cutting a bigger circle round the dwarf apple tree (on the right of the pic, putting in some blood fish and bone and covering with bark chippings). It was covered in blackfly last year and needs some tlc.
