I've been very busy at work and had to negect the garden somewhat but I've managed an evening stroll and come up with some lovely shots. I have lived in France for 7 years and have never experienced such terrible weather, so many plants have been beaten down and there is so much greenery rather than blooms, but nature is awesome, a joy to observe.

I enjoyed seeing your garden @D0rdogne_Damsel, how it is now, especially as I've seen it in real life in the past. You've done a great job. I particularly liked the red wine flower  ;)
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

The red wine flower is the absolute best @Busy-Lizzie

Some plants, supposedly tender, seem to cope better than expected in the South East eg. Tradescantia pallida, canna do fine outside.
Thanks for the ID on that tradescantia, it's beautiful. What are the other purple/reddy foliage plants in your photos? My garden is too green so I plan to get some of those!

@Zenjeff - beautiful. Could you list which poppy name is which? Thanks.
The first two bread seed poppies after midnight,
Seriously those poppies came from the seeds on bread?!
