I think up to three is pretty standard for most UK birds. It feels like a hugely long season for the poor parents.
I lie in the bath and hear the endless cheaping. Demanding work for half the year.
I guess it's a good sign that there is enough biomass locally to keep all the nests going. My garden is still a mass of aphids and sawfly etc.

Most of my dahlias this year are slug-ravaged. Still they are determined to show their pretty faces 😊
Oxford. The City of Dreaming Spires.
And then my heart with pleasure fills,
And dances with the daffodils (roses). Taking a bit of liberty with Wordsworth

@BenCotto
. Beautiful. Never seen anything like that before. I think you could open your garden to the public and I would be first in the queue!

My morning glory Grandpa Ott today. I found some old seed in the shed (from 2013 I think!) and sowed back in mid May to grow between my tomatoes.

Old seeds are always worth a try. You can always re-use the compost if you get nothing
In London. Keen but lazy.

Have done that before
