..did you do that yourself?  it looks quite professional.. what roses are you putting on it? that is the pertinent point .. of course ..

That silas marner (above) that is reaching for the sky's  with a solitary cane is worrying me a lot! I've just  planted a couple in a mixed border thinking it would be neat and well behaved. Is that normal? , does any one else have any experience with silas?

@Rickyjones24 Silas is 2020 rose, nobody really has enough experience with it yet. From what I've heard, I am the only one with a cane like that, so far, but I am sure others will catch up :D I am curious if I get another cane like that or maybe more of them this year...

..don't go by me, but mine's a total dud.. it has diedback to about 4 inches tall.. I'd rather have edhelka's reaching for the sky than the one I have currently, even though I don't like how that's going, to be honest.. but it's typical of so many Austins to throw out a long cane.. even Kew Gardens does it but evens up later..   I should claim a refund for mine under their 5 year guarantee but I can't be a*sed..

..thanks for the photos... I thought your Banksia might have opened a few blooms during the warmer weather..   I see you pot up your roses the same way as I do.. which ones are those please?...

@Tack if you crop your photos, even just slightly, they will load straight. Any editing will do it.
