I wouldn't mind but one of the Great Tits must have told all his friends about the supply too. I've never seen so many of the little bugge darlings in one place.
We don't need to book here in Ireland, @Allotment Boy - the surgery rings us. Very civilised... but on the other hand, the vaccination rollout is very slow. They've only just started on the 75-80 age group, so it'll be a while before I get mine (age 68).
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

Unfortunately the slow roll out is standard throughout the EU.
First little rosebud looks ready to pop - if it survives . Dublin Bay always the first and the last to bloom so I can almost forgive it for being a pillar rose in the wrong place.
@Liriodendron, yes we were phoned for our first one, I have commented before it was obvious they were filling slots, because we had ours early (me 67 at the time) Now they keep sending automated messages saying book 2nd dose , but the booking site just says no appointments available.
The booking system does seem to have some oddities about it. When I booked through the NHS site I selected dates and times for both vaccinations. My brother-in-law was contactedby his surgery but only given a date for the 1st. He asked about the 2nd and was told they would be in touch to arrange that. Seems a strange way to go about things as they are creating more work for themselves.
