    Well, all I can say about your political judgement @punkdoc is that you voted and campaigned for a local Labour politician who was then denounced for misogyny and bigotry.

    The problem with people who actively seek to be PM is that they are nearly always hugely egomaniacal and self-serving.   That makes none of them trustworthy.

    Civil Partnership Act

    These are just the first things that come to mind. Tell me someone who achieved more.

    I thought l'd wandered into the wrong thread back there, thought this was the RTBC one 😉.
    Good news about the cooker @ Hostafan1. 
    OH is getting the propagator out from the chaos that is the garage this afternoon. Seed sowing begins in earnest. Also the basil seeds l sowed last Saturday have started to show. Always lifts the spirits when the little green shoots appear 🌱.

    Back to the subject of PMs ..... in my view it was a sad day when John Smith died before he had the chance to lead the country.

    I had some dealings with him as part of my work, and always found him to be a man of integrity.
    Not many politicians you can say that about.
