  • Currently listening to "Hosanna to the son of David" by Orlando Gibbons.  Sublime...   :)
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

I don't listen to music much. I get earworms that last for days. The music you get in a phone queue is the worst!
    In London. Keen but lazy.

Usually only listen to music in the car, but last night, I stuck the earphones in the iPad and watched ‘Tonight’ from West Side Story on YouTube. Why haven’t I done this before? Followed up with Hans Zimmers theme for the Da Vinci Code. Crap book, wet film, but the music is lovely.
I feel as if I have a whole new world opened! Won’t get the gardening or housework done though!

"The music you get in a phone queue is the worst!"  That's not real music!!!  :o

@B3 if you like VW's Lark, I think you'd like his Norfolk Rhapsodies ... it sounds as if you like music that paints pictures and puts you 'in a place' ...  this is just one of the three

I've got George Butterworth's Shropshire Lad on at the moment ...  :)

  • Seems apt @pansyface

I'm reading a lot of John Clare at the moment too ...

I love Butterworth. I'm going to listen to your link now @Dovefromabove😊
Update: unmistakably RVW. Will find the other two.
Debussy's sunken Cathedral is another picture painter that I like.
    In London. Keen but lazy.

I don't know if it counts as RTBC but I was listening to the radio earlier and a question was put out about the funniest thing seen at a wedding.  One response was from somebody who was at a reception where there was a hog roast.  Their 4 year old daughter had taken the other young kids out to see Peppa Pig!
