  • Morning everyone,
Looks very cold out there this morning. A very thick frost here too.
Woke up at five, but nodded off again after a little while. Hope you had a better nights sleep LB. And everyone else too of course.
Having a cup of tea curled up on the sofa.
    See you in a bit

Good Morning Rubee, Hazel & LB and all to follow,
Rubee Hope the snow isn’t too deep where you are, stay safe & warm,
Hazel I hope all goes well with the plumber today and he resolves the boiler noise problem, nice early start for you 😳
LB I hope your neighbour has a good return to work, it’s nice for her to know her little one is in good hands with her mum.
Pleased to see Debs jab went ok yesterday, a big relief for her that the first one is done. Fingers crossed that the roof is rectified for Chey damp indoors is a dreadful situation to be in.
Hope Ante is getting on ok now he is back at school.
Hope you all have a good day.

Good morning all. Arm a bit sore and feels heavy but otherwise fine. Still lots of snow here but no plans to go anywhere think it’s a lazy day on the cards. Stay safe and warm everyone.

    Morning SGL & Debs,
Sorry SGL I missed you before a very early time to wake, hope you have an easy day,
Debs I hope the arm improves and enjoy having a lazy day,
@Yviestevie I hope firstborn and Merri are soon on the mend, it can’t be at all easy trying to stay separated from Mabel and her dad fingers crossed that things improve. Hope Gabriel is recovering well from having had chicken pox.
Hazel they do sound very well organised & a good idea to create a video so you know what to expect, gives you peace of mind.
Safe journey if you are venturing out today, very frosty here.
  • Love the little duck in the bird bath Hazel. It was very frosty here too this morning. Just been out to the bins and had to give the lid a thump to get it open. Brrrrrr😨❄❄ Sorry you kept waking up, hopefully the plumber fix things quickly and leave early and then you can relax for the rest of the day.
Yvie, hope first born and Merri get well soon and that Gabriel is feeling better too. Sending very best wishes to you and your family. Take care.
LB, hope your neighbour has a good day, such a wrench going back after all this time with her little one. But I bet her mum has a wonderful time, nothing like having Nanna snuggles.
Chey, hope you get the ceiling sorted ASAP, that's been going on too long.
Debs hope the achy arm doesn't last long. Have a restful day.
Chive, that's ok,  😉 Hope you have a good day at work.
Have a good day everyone take care

Hi folks,  Both Gabriel and Jonah and fine now and back at nursery/school.  I'm going over to pick them up this afternoon and look after them while their Dad works.
Unfortunately, despite being really careful, both Mabel and her Dad have tested positive for Covid.  Firstborn is improving but Merri is still quite poorly.  Bit worried about their Dad as he does have mild asthma and has had problems with his chest in the past.
The snow is finally starting to thaw here so hopefully my drive over and back to Redditch will be uneventful.

Hello SGL, Chive, Debs and Yvie. Glad to hear Duckie did the job Hazel. Sorry to hear the other two members of the family have tested positive Yvie.
I've just got back from 'sco. The car park was absolutely lethal. I felt my car skidding as we drove in. I got out of the car cautiously and managed a triple toe loop and a double Salchow as I entered the store! Only kidding, I did the famous tippy toed penguin waddle to make sure I stayed upright - both going in and coming out. Store was great but they had obviously had a major cleaning session as it smelt very strongly of some sort of disinfectant/bactericide and that set off my coughing! Having a sensitivity to various substances that provoke coughing is not best tolerated at this time. Luckily there were few shoppers in the store! Be careful Yvie, the rain falling on the frozen snow is making walking very difficult

  • Hello all

Cold again here today but it is dry. I can cope with the cold and dry not the dull damp weather.

SGL I am glad you got a better sleep. It is awful when you have broken nights. I woke up at 1.38am and was convinced ot was time to get up (I actually thought the alarm had gone off). I was so tired and thought I couldn't have had a good sleep. I then looked at the clock and was so relieved that it was 1.38am. It must have been a dream about the alarm going off.

Yvie I am so sorry to hear that your other family members have tested positive. I hope that they are not too symptomatic and get well soon.

I must go as I am due to end my lunch break at work.

    Have a lovely afternoon 😁

    Afternoon all,

What happened to Monday? :o I was working for an obscene number of hours yesterday and started at 7am this morning so I'm having a few moments of respite.

The grim weather is back here - wet, windy and trying to snow. Glad I had a productive day on Sunday because I won't be getting outside before the weekend at least.

And, yes, I DID enjoy the football on Sunday @star gaze lily ;)

Hello PurpleRose and Biglad. Hope you are both finishing for the day now. Time to put feet up and relax I think.
