Afties all. What a dismal day today. I was out in the garden for a while but it was bone chillingly damp and really too wet from the last few days rain that, even allowing for the fact its stayed dry today, no serious work could be done. I saw that the birds feeders were filled and checked for more bulbs. Hazel, it sounds like you had a productive trip to the GC. Did you manage to track down the parcel that you sent to your Mum?
Chive, I used to love the last day of term. I used to take in a big tin of QS or R for my form to enjoy and we had music playing all morning. They always finished early on the last day of term and then we staff used to party in the staff room. Fortunately my students were ols enough not to stress about crackers and their contents be I do know from our family February holidays that small people are not keen on sharing and always want what someone else has. Large box of tissues required!

Afternoon all,  Had to pop to Merry Hell today to sort out some banking issues.  The area we went in was very, very quiet but didn't go into the main shopping area.  Did walk through Debenhams though and picked up a couple of half price toys for the boys.
Early start tomorrow as I'm on Nanna Duty but only a week to go and then I can chill.
Happy Birthday Hazel's daughter.  Hang on in there all you teachers it's nearly the end of term.

I am signing out . Goodnight everyone .
  • Great news Hazel, so glad your mum has got your presents.
    Saying night night too.
    Sleep well everyone
  • LB Sounds like you provided the perfect end of term atmosphere in your class, they are fun times. I’ll need my glasses handy as well to read all the jokes out 🤓
Pleased you found out what happened to your parcel Hazel, mystery solved.
Rubee you did well to mange some gardening outside this morning,
Yvie although it’s nice for you to be with your grandsons, I don’t suppose you enjoy the school run very much. I’m a dinner lady in the infants and that hour & half is enough 🥴
Hope Rosie is ok not seen her today and Topbird I wonder if they managed to go out for her OH’s birthday,
Goodnight LB, Rubee & Lily, sleep well.
