Up earlier today. Firstly my bladder at 6am, then Hubby’s fire brigade gadget gave a chirp to notify a high fire day at 8 am, then at 9am, his mate from Melbourne rang for a chat. 🙄🤬. I decided I’d be better off up and about.  The weather channel advises another 35 degree day with a wet/cold front moving across from the west this afternoon. I give up.

Might do a bit of doll making to amuse myself.  I’m certainly not going out into that heat at this stage.

Thanks for all your kind thoughts.
Total chaos here, they are trying to discharge mum who is totally confused due to a UTI, and has a catheter in, to a flat by herself.
She also has a pressure sore now, presumably from lying on the floor for at least 24 hours before she was found.
I have lost my temper so many times today, trying to prevent them from doing it. Think I may just have secured another night in hospital.
How can you lie there and think of England
When you don't even know who's in the team

I’m lost for words Punkdoc. What does it take?  I hope you can settle down soon. I’m sure you don’t want to be back in a ward.   Try to take care of yourself. Sending strong wishes to you.

  • Oh @punkdoc ((hugs)). They need social services to hold a Discharge Meeting and do  a Discharge Assessment and they should jolly well know that. 😡

    Now it’s December ... I’ll start a new thread ...
