Well, at least troll reincarnations provide some entertainment on an otherwise dull day.

@KT53 you have to read the small print these days.  I very nearly bought a pack of  Parmesan in a block today thinking it was only 30cents more expensive than the usual - same package size.  Upon closer inspection there's 50g more cheese in my usual pack.

  • Wow I can't believe the nastiness on this forum. I only joined a couple of months ago and haven't even posted yet. I have really enjoyed reading through all the posts and got some good advice for my garden. I don't recall liking any posts on this thread, as I said I have only been reading through and am not aware of any previous trolling so don't know what that is all about.
It is rather funny though that those who have complained about trolling have now done exactly that to me.

You can always withdraw your ‘like’ if you want too. Just click on it again and it will go away.n

@Angelicant. It can easily happen by accident. It usually goes unnoticed. Bad luck, it happened on a troll's post. I hope you'll stick around and give us another chance😊

Not just the small print Obelixx.  Our local Co-op often has 3 different size packs of Jaffa Cakes with 12, 18 and 30 in the various packs.  Add to that, one or more - often all of them, have 'offer' prices and you need a maths degree to work out the best value.

If you inadvertently "Liked" a nasty post, I owe you an apology...........an unfortunate mistake on your part and, it would seem, on my part too. Hopefully you will look at the post concerned and realise why the ensuing comments were made.
The nastiness on this forum emanates from just one or two posters - Swiss Sue/Sarinka is the current one.  No one on here is "trolling" you and I hope you will continue to post :)

Thank you @philippasmith2. No harm done. I am too old and wise to be too troubled although I must admit being called "misguided" "pathetic" and "it" and where I live called into question before I realised what had happened was a little disconcerting. Just goes to show how easy it is ☺️
Hopefully my next post will be about plants.

My curmudgeon is that OH received an NHS letter today informing him that a telephone appointment had been made for yesterday at 3.15 pm and he should make himself available. Oh no, it wasn't, the telephone didn't ring all afternoon.
We're waiting for it to be re-scheduled.

I must admit that I find trolls a bit upsetting. This forum is my 'go to' place for trusted information, discussion and a laugh.  It's a shame when someone P****s in the paddling pool.
