Afternoon all,  Lovely snowman Hazel, I'll have to have a look at what I can do.  Love homemade biscuits Ante.  Your students are very lucky.
I've got loads of bulbs still to go in LB but it's so very wet here, doesn't seem to have stopped raining for days.
I've been to Merry Hell this morning to pick up a parcel for Firstborn.  Had to argue to get it as they wanted her ID not mine.  As I pointed out I had the original email on my phone forwarded by her and she was in fact in cornwall and couldn't pick it up herself they finally relented and let me take the parcel.  Unfortunately it then beeped at every store I entered (except theirs)  eventually I got fed up of all the dirty looks I was getting and went back to the shop.  They unpacked everything but couldn't find anything that would be setting alarms off.
I've also bought all my individual Ch******s cards, have enough general ones and wrapping paper from last year, so that's me sorted.  Just a few more pressies to get online so wont be venturing out again to any major shops.
Hi from Kingswinford in the West Midlands

    Hello Yvie.
Hard day with parcel. I sympathize with you because last month I had a similar problem with ID on post office.
I bought all C****s gifts, but believe me or not, I can't find cards yet here. Maybe after all Saints Day.

Back from the vets.  Alfie’s been given a booster injection and some medication to start tomorrow evening which should last a while.   Hazel lovely scarf.
  • Aww, love your snowman Hazel,  he's really cute. Very pretty scarf too, love the colour. Will go with lots of things.
Chive, have a lovely few days away, hope the weather is kind to you.
    Still raining here 😣
Haven't done much today. Did pop out this morning and got some wool. But the other bits and bobs I wanted had sold out. And I wasn't brave enough to catch yet another bus to the big 'craft' store. So I  came home and I've ordered a few bits on line.
Although I didn't realise the C*****#@$ decoration had to be for a tree.  Might have another think.
  • Rosie, hope Alfie feels better soon🐾🐾

Ruby I love your little wreath and stocking. Thank you. I'm downloading the pics to make up a Christmas style collage. Downloaded Hazel's already. (Hazel I did get my bulbs planted. Mentioned it on page 70)

    Evening all,

Forgot to take those meter readings again :o but did get offered a job today. Seems counterintuitive that I've been holed up at home for 9 months but will now need to go and find somewhere to live 200 miles away so I can enter a workplace as the country careers into a winter of spiralling Covid cases. I'd sooner carry on as I've been doing but needs must :(
