Ante, your clock has brought a big smile to my face! Excellent! As long as you remember which season you are in. I've been in the garage and it is cold! Emptied out some defunct plant pots and found some tiny offsets of the bulbs that had been in there. I've collected them all up (all mixed) and I'll grow them on until they might flower in several years time. I like the challenge. I have only got a few more plant pots to wash but they will wait until I've had my elevenses.
Thank you for your nice comments about the conservatory. I have got the flooring to put in it. That is part of my winter project. I'm on the penultimate row of four colours on my blanket so that should be finished very soon. It is lovely and warm on my knees when I'm knitting.

Hazel, I'm much better, thank for asking.

Chive, I had plenty of rest yesterday, and I'll today also.

LB, you was very busy this morning. I hope so that your challenge with bulbs will be success.

It's wonderful day outside, but I'm watching Midsomer murders on sofa. Later will be GB Bake off.

Hi folk,  Poor Gabriel is back in the hospital with breathing problems.  He went in this morning.  Secondborn caught it a bit earlier and we are hoping that he wont be in long this time.  I just want to go and give him a big cuddle but mum will be filling that role so he'll be fine.
I've been trying to take my mind off things by getting stuck into the garden.  We have put the obelisks back together that we removed when the new rose arch went in.  Pots have been planted up with bulbs, violas and carex.  Also cut back the cannas, agapanthus and tender salvias and put them in the greenhouse.  Feel like the garden is getting back in order after my weeks of neglect even though I still have lots of cutting back to do.  Enjoy the rest of the weekend everyone.

Oh Yvie. That is dreadul news. Poor Gabriel - and the rest of the family. Such worrying times for you all. There is a lot to be said for the healing effect gardening can have on the troubled mind. I hope Gabriel is soon recovered and back home.
