Those Chinese Lantern plants are lovely - although they can be a thug if they’re in the ground and they like their spot. An old neighbour did battle with them for years.

MIL has a date for her flu jab. It’s being done at the local flying club. Don’t ask 🙄

We will be eligible for jabs this year as the programme is being extended to include the over 50’s due to Covid. Had a look on our GP website which basically said - haven’t got any, don’t know when it’s coming, stop ringing us to ask about it. Not the most reassuring of messages🤨

Chive, if its drive through I'll leave my right arm out of the window!. T'Bird that is not very helpful at all is it? I hate all these supposed useful websites when they are so user unfriendly. Rosie, Rington's man came but I don't get tea from him. He has loads of other yummy things to tempt you. I'm signing out for tonight. See you all tomorrow. I'll have another quiz for you too.

Surprise surprise its raining again this morning. It actually started last night, just as I was leaving ex cat sitter's (Jack's) bungalow. I had been across with a birthday gift for him. Its a little bit early as his birthday (90) isn't until the 24th, but he needed a new doorbell and I knew he would like tinkering with setting it up. Its wireless and the bell push doesn't need any batteries. I told him I expected to be able to ring it the next time I go over, though I don't go through the bungalow but round the side and into the conservatory. He is doing very well for his age and we always have a good laugh putting the world to rights.
