  • Yes thank you Rubee, but a very lazy one. Had a nice sit in the garden in the afternoon.
Have just woken up on the sofa,  I was in such a deep sleep too. Will say goodnight to you all and hopefully go back to sleep, feeling very tired.
    Sleep well everyone

Good morning everyone. A very strange phenomenon this morning, all my windows were steamed up on the outside. Not seen that for a long time. I guess Autumn is upon us for sure.

  • Good Morning LB and all to follow, Lily hope you managed to return to that lovely deep sleep you were enjoying on the sofa 😴
LB Beautiful Autumn pictures, those colours are wonderful. Thank you for the quiz answers, I managed to get a couple right this time. My car has alternator issues so it’s off to the garage today, then more painting to be done.
Hope you all have a good day, it is supposed to be a warm one.

Good morning everyone . LB the programme you mentioned was very hard viewing .
That’s a gorgeous pic ,the colours are amazing .Morning Chive ,I hope your car gets sorted today .

  • Morning everyone,
Sun is shining here too, looks like its going to be a beautiful day. I'm not usually affected by the seasons  but must admit after these crazy months I feel much better on sunny days than the few dreary ones we've had the last couple of weeks.
Mind you I'm seeing 2nd poppet today, they make me feel better whatever the day! 😊
Hazel, sorry your arm is still so sore, hope it eases soon.
Thank you for the answers LB,
Chive,  yes nodded off almost straight away and slept till just before 8. Hope the car gets sorted quickly for you.
Didn't see the programme,  sounds rather upsetting.
Hope you all have a lovely day, enjoy this gorgeous weather 🌞

LB I too watched Extinction it was one of the desperately sad programmes I have watched.  I hope things will change and prevent the trade and preserve the natural world.  Yours very sad indeed.

Hello again Chive, Ruby, Hazel, SGL and Rosie. Its gorgeous outside. I've been down to the compost heap which has shrunk to about a quarter of its depth in a week! I was taking down some apple peelings as my sister gave me a bag of apples yesterday so I've made a crumble with some of them and I tossed in the last of my blackberries too. I was then getting scolded by this year's robin so I had to refill the bird feeders to keep the feathered community happy. My candelabra primulas in the greenhouse are almost ready to go into the garden and I noticed that my Eurybia is flowering nicely. I saw Monty was planting some in has garden on last Friday's GW.
SGL you will have a joyous time with Poppetoo! Hazel, the stiffness will soon wear off. Nip round and help Chive with her decorating, that should ease it up a bit!

Afternoon everyone,  Care home called at 4.30 a.m. to let me know that mum had passed away.  She was 98 and had decided that her time had come.  I'm just so very sad that I couldn't be with her.  I hadn't seen her for months as Sandwell had reistated lockdown so I wasn't allowed in.  I can't even go and get her things.  They will bagged up and left in reception for me to get on Thursday morning.
