We're all happy with the result here.   Anyone would have done except Jamie but I'm especially pleased it was Bill because of his attitude throughout .

    Haven't missed Bruno at all.

  • WHOOP! WHOOP! WHOOP!  So very pleased it was Bill, so well deserved.
Wouldn't have been disappointed if HER BY had won either, but so so pleased it wasn't Jamie.

I haven't missed Bruno either, but do think there should be a 4th judge......maybe Anton 😉
  • Forget four judges, just give us Anton @star gaze lily 😉

Really enjoyed it all, am so glad they managed to do the series. I voted for HRVY but am delighted that Bill won.

I was never that irritated by Bruno, but haven't missed him *at all*. Ideally just replace him with Anton next year.
    Still grinning about Bill

  • Same here,  happy with the outcome, would not have liked Jamie but any of the others would have been fine.
    AB Still learning

  • To be honest I didnt really have a favourite, all the dances were good and entertaining, was a bit awed by the Katya/Nichola dance,as I wondered if Nichola would do any lifting,it was kind of Rumba ish!

I found Bruno amusing as a judge tho often OTT and always laughed when he fell off his chair but I haven't missed his antics at all.  I think they need a new judge who is more ballroom/technical/constructive and less show biz as I did find Strictly a bit short on the 10 dances this year.

I enjoyed Nicola and Katya's dance - great lifts too - but Possum didn't like it.  She thought it was a poor Argentine tango whereas I saw an AT with extra bits.
    Funny thing, perception.

My favourites for a while now have been HRVY and Bill although I have nothing against the other two apart from them both being a bit chopsy.  I only start watching after about week 4 so don't have to suffer the no-hopers but from what I've seen, the standard of dancing has been incredibly high.  To think that two total non-dancers could make it to the semi on merit is unheard of I think.  Also the have final where there was no stand out favourite before the event is also a first.
