It’s a bit of escapism and a good excuse for a glass of something nice. We put it on a projector screen and make an evening of it. I think I will vote for what I find the most appealing on the night but I can be easily swayed by the music as it can make, or break, a routine.

Happy with the result. It seemed even more emotional than usual (although that might just be me :) ).
Thank heavens they managed to get through the series and give us the entertainment.
I must admit when Bruno popped up and Claudia said "We missed you", l realised l'd completely forgotten about him (again).
I hope the whole team have a good Christmas, they deserve it.

For our own amusement we decided to score the judges, past and present. The score was an amalgam of their entertainment value and their ability to convey their technical expertise. Here is our view:
    Alesha 1
    Arlene 4
    Bruno 10
    Craig 10
    Darcey 3
    Len 9
    Motsi 5
    Shirley 5

In my view anyone who comes up with the line “you dance like a murderer” deserves a 10.

Really enjoyed the final. I too felt emotional tonight, probably not really about strictly, but I am thankful that they made it happen as it has been a weekend highlight in these dark weeks.

Edit: hadn’t spotted your post BC - that made me chuckle. Len is a 10 from me, and only a 5 for Bruno though.

  • You missed a few judges @BenCotto what about Donnie Osmond , Alfonsa Ribeiro and Anton. 😁

Don't mind the winner, there was a few good dances.

Great result tonight felt the winner has provided the most entrainment and been the biggest surprise. Clearly an amazing effort on the production side to produce the show with only 1 failed covid test. Great show, looking forward to next year already
