Problem adding my location

I've been trying to add my location but keep getting one or two errors.

I've tried logging out of the forum and or the main website and logging back in again but same problems.

Any ideas?

@Bill and Ben - I replied on your other thread, but then I saw this, so I've reported this one to the mods so that they can hopefully take a look for you  :)
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Same issue for me @Bill and Ben  Would you mind letting me know if/when you get it sorted?

Hopefully, the mods will post on this thread @jamessayersbrown.
It was probably you that I recalled having a problem  :)

Someone else said on the other thread, that they had added their location yesterday. Perhaps it has something to do with the device or server or summat. I know nothing about these things!

@Fairygirl @Bill and Ben I posted that I work on a help desk and then thought "What would I do if a client emailed and said they had this issue?"

I've just tried on Firefox (browser) and it's let me change it (I was originally trying on Chrome).

This is where I would pass it to the development team to figure out why.... :)

That might be the problem then @jamessayersbrown. I have Chrome too, but I've sometimes used another browser if there's a problem with something, although not on here.
I have a techy daughter I can call on if I have a problem. They have to come in useful for something after all.....

@Fairygirl @jamessayersbrown I have a degree in Computer Science and worked in Technical Support for many years but this has me bamboozled too!

I've tried in Chrome, Edge and Firefox without success. I've also done what I used to tell people when I was in technical support which is to shut down and restart the whole system. That solved many issues!

I wondered if it is because my username contains spaces and one of the errors I get says it can't. But then many people have usernames with spaces and also locations showing, including some fairly recent members. I like my username and am not inclined to change it in case I can't get it back! it does date me though  ;)
