    Morning everyoneย
LB, wasn't an early bird, I was just going to bed. ๐Ÿ˜‚
Sun is shining, OH is going to cut the last part of the garden this morning. I'm going to wash the table and chairs and put those away. I ache a bit after yesterday, but want to get it done incase more rain arrives. If we're lucky enough to get a few weeks of sun we still have the swing seat to use and a little table that's easyย  to put away.ย
Noticed a couple of mole hills in the bottom of the garden yesterday, so will collect the earth.... its great for pots๐Ÿ˜‰ They have the whole of the field at the back of us ๐Ÿ™„
Debs hope you have a good day at work. Good you got some of the room done.
I was always hopeless on a pogo stick๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ A friend had one........ but wasn't much better, novelty soon wore off ๐Ÿ˜‚
Mind has now gone blank, sorry everyone. Have a good day whatever you're doing. Take care.
Do hope we haven't got another lockdown on the way ๐Ÿคž

You little 'stop up' SGL. We'll have to call you Night Hawk. Are you still having trouble sleeping? Good idea to safely store your loungers but doesn't it feel a bit sad as it marks our slow slide into Autumn and Winter? I was rubbish on a pogo stick too - think I laughed too much instead of attempting to be more balanced. I'm waiting for a delivery between 11:51 and 12:51 (don't you just love the precision?) so whilst I'm waiting I've made a rhubarb crumble and its starting to smell really nice in the kitchen.

๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ LBย  Yes it is a bit sad, but the weather here was pretty awful last week, so i just decided that the next decent day I'd clean it and put it away in the garage. We still have the swing seat and the companion seat to use, they always stay out we just put the covers over those. We'll only sit out now if it's warm enough during the day. Not warm enough for the lounges or eating in the garden in the evening.ย  Still maybe because I've done this we'll get the heatwave they've promised us the last few weeks......it was supposed to be really hot today, but the sun has disappeared.ย
Off now to sort out the mole hills ๐Ÿ˜•
Hope you don't have to wait too long for the delivery......crumble and custard, OH yum ๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜‹

  • Took this yesterday.....trotting around the very back of the garden under the plum tree.

He's a beauty SGL. I had one of the Mrs. P's in my garden yesterday. The first time for several weeks. I expect that they have all been off raising families. The sun is out now so I'm hoping to get out into the garden later - after the delivery.

    Morning all,

Nice here :o Might even finally mow the front lawn today. If it stays dry, the painting project could resume.....

Afties @Biglad The sun came out, scared itself to death and retreated behind a cloud again. My delivery just arrived at 12:20 so I can think about gardening this afternoon - the emphasis being on 'think' at present. What are you painting? Is that what you were in training for?

It's dancing in and out of view here as well @Ladybird4. I'm painting fence panels, concrete posts, planters (6), concrete wall panels and the slats from two pallets that I've split up (with a view to constructing a cold frame).

Going to mow that lawn first though.

I have dug up two shrubs and cut back a Buddleja almost to ground level. Gosh my work seems piffling (Ante - means trivial.) compared to Biglad's.ย  I have achieved a lot - in my eyes - and the green bin is 3/4 full now. Thats me done for the day. Right Chive, here are different sorts of dogs to be identified.
