    Afternoon all!

T'bird, Happy 33rd anniversary to you and OH! Have many more years together!
It was nice to be again in classroom, but many, many new rules and to be honest I'm really tired.

Hazel, I was tired because I went to cottage after school and work outside.

We have family dinner tonight and my father is roasting small pig. I'll not eat meat but have many other things. I made tiramisu and cheesecake with raspberries.
It would be perfect but here is another heatwave and now is 35℃. We can expect heavy storm at Monday. I saw on tv news from Milan and there was massive storm with rain and hail.

    Have a nice afternoon.

Hello Pauline, AnniD and Ante. Gosh Ante, I can believe you would feel really tired after your first day back at school and all the new rules and regulations. My mind would have been in a spin. You are having so many hot days - they must tire you out as well. It will be lovely having a family meal tonight. Is it, perhaps, an early celebration for your birthday??

Hi LB. It is early celebration because they are all free today so it's easy to gathered them all. It's not many people, exact 15.
I can handle with many things but heatness is not one of them. It's bothers me.
    How are you today?

Happy Anniversary Topbird and other half! Meal sounds delicious and a good film is one of my favourite ways to spend an evening.
Youngest daughter and her lovely husband popped in earlier, they had the private scan today and it seems I will have a new little Grandson in February.
So happy for them, she is now over the sickness and starting to feel better.

Congratulations on learning it's to be a boy Debs - exciting times.

Ante - I hope the meal has gone well - it all sounds delicious.

Some of you may remember I spent my last birthday unblocking a toilet. I (to be fair - WE) have been spending our anniversary unblocking the waste pipe from the washing machine🤬

Ante, I have been very busy today. I've been cutting back plants in my front garden. I found a tiny frog - about the size of a plum and then the big daddy or mummy of a frog about the size of a saucer. I was happy to find these as it means that the pond was used this year. My biggest green bin is now full. I was aching everywhere when I'd finished but I am more comfortable now
What lovely news Debs! T'Bird, these jobs just have to be done!

@Topbird you old romantic you! I think it’s the sign of a good loving relationship when you can be perfectly happy doing something horrible together or just doing nothing much together.
LB those frogs sound lovely I adore them but unfortunately Gatsby does too and drags them into the house to die so I can’t encourage them into the garden at all.
    Ante enjoy your meal.
Off round to my sisters now for a bit of tea and a chat
    Goodnight all. Sleep well.
